No new reports. Rain has finally arrived and will stick around for a while. 450 CFS (vs 2000 avg).

1/13 -- FAIR

No new reports. 520 CFS (vs 1600 CFS).

1/6 -- FAIR

"The Yuba is low, clear and cold right now thanks to zero rainfall in the basin." Kiene discussion on Skwalas and fishing results. 510 CFS (vs 1600 avg).

12/23 -- FAIR

"steelhead fishing in the Yuba has tapered off from its peak" but still some chromer success below the bridge. 580 CFS (vs 1300 avg).

12/16 -- FAIR

No new reports, except on Kiene's discussion board -- "a few, fun, fiesty Yuba rainbows." Low at 620 CFS (vs 920 avg).

12/9 -- FAIR

"...some small fish were still being caught between Parks Bar and take out Sycamore Ranch, or upstream from the mouth." Upper section (above bridge) is open. 650 CFS (vs 900 avg).

12/2 -- FAIR

The section above the 20 bridge is now open again, with wadeable flows at 650 CFS (vs 850 avg). There are reports of some reports of some stoneflies hatching. BWO's are present on cloudy days.

11/18 -- FAIR

Crowded on weekends. Minimal results. 580 CFS (vs 720 avg).

11/11 -- FAIR

550 CFS (vs 700 avg). No new reports.

11/4 -- GOOD

"Good time to start working Skawala nymphs and egg patterns through the runs and riffles." Caddis, mayfly nymphs, rubberlegs. Steelhead on streamers and rubberlegs, best in lower river. Very wadeable at 600-650 CFS (vs 640 avg).

10/28 -- FAIR

Down to 680 CFS (vs 710 avg), from 780 sunday. No new reports. Sunny and mild weather continues.

10/25 -- FAIR

750 CFS for 5 days (vs 650 avg). No new reports.

10/21 -- FAIR

750 CFS (vs 700 avg). Flucuated between 600 and 900 over last week. No new reports, thus downgrade -- weather steady but flows not. Call ahead.

10/18 -- GOOD

Steelhead and trout. Eggs, rubberlegs, caddis, mayfly nymphs. Steelhead streamers. 750 CFS (vs 710 avg), some fluctuations.

10/14 -- VERY GOOD

"I had the 2 best days that I have ever had on the Lower Yuba since I have been guiding it the last 5 years" -- despite low salmon numbers. Eggs best. Caddis, rubberlegs. Fish bigger than in september. Between 750 and 800 CFS for 3 days (vs 750 avg).

10/14 -- EXCELLENT

10/11 -- FAIR

Between 700 and 800 CFS last week (vs 750 avg). Monday rainfall. No new reports. Call ahead.

10/7 -- FAIR

750 CFS (vs 700 avg, down from 800 tuesday). No new reports. Some rain has fallen. Call ahead.

10/4 -- FAIR

800 CFS for 4 days (vs 700 avg). Hoppers, AP's, standard mayfly nymphs. Rain is here -- could quash hoppers.
