Good time for big browns on big surface imitations as they start moving upstream in august. Midges, sowbugs, scuds, sj worms, soft hackles, streamers, hoppers. Heat wave continues, but water temps OK, especially a.m. and p.m. Flows between 6000 and 17,500.

Flows between 6000 and 19,000 CFS daily. Big foam dries/terrestrials (or indicator) + midge, copper john, egg, worm droppers. Flow regime changed saturday, so adjust your schedule.

Wild swings in flow continue (4000 - 16,000 CFS). Ramp-ups starting at 6am-8am. Can stir up food and trout. Best before water peaks each day (and before heat). Terrestrials, streamers, nymphs.
