Good water conditions, a little high, warming in lower stretches. Good supply of hatches a.m. and p.m.: BWO's, slate drakes, cahills, craneflies, caddis, sulfurs, blue quills, yellow drakes, stones, midges (is that enough?). Crowded weekends.Latest reports 6/27:

6/24 -- VERY GOOD
"Massive Sulphur hatches at dark" (Penns Creek Angler), plus BWO's, various drakes and cahills, caddis and craneflies. Best insect activity in lower stretch. Flows a little high (330 CFS) and slightly off-color after recent rain. Rainy weekend weather my intensify the BWO's, but watch flows.Latest reports 6/23:

River clearing, cooling, some color, 494 CFS (avg = 275), but some fish rising. Penn's creek angler optimistic on trends; Feathered hook highlights difficult wading and "MUD!!!" clarity. Half full, half empty...Latest reports 6/13:

450 CFS (vs. 320 normal). Hot; cooler this weekend. Drakes are over. Cahills, caddis, craneflies, stoneflies. "Very soon we will have the best fishing of the year" (see below).Latest report 6/9:

6/6 -- EXCELLENT
Flows continue to drop and clear -- to 626 CFS (still nearly 2X normal). GREEN DRAKES, baby (plus sulfurs, gray fox, cahills, caddis and stones)! Spinners commence around 9pm, some success until 11:00pm. Fever. Need I say more? Nirvana may only last a few more days, so hit the water.Latest report 6/6:

"DRAKE IS ON THE APARTMENT IS OPEN", according to Penns Creek Angler; "Green Drakes are all over the creek....just about top to bottom!!!", says The Feathered Hook (see below). Receding and clearing up, high but fishable at 989 CFS (3X normal flows, 2X ideal). Use caution.Latest reports 6/2:
