"Look for the trout and steelhead fishing on the...McKenzie to remain good until monsoon season arrives." Trout: BWO's, october caddis. "The Steelhead this time of year will eat a number of different things, provided they are in the right spot. In the past week, I have seen Steelhead taken on October caddis dry flies, nymphs, muddlers, leeches, and traditional wet flies." 3000 and dropping (vs 2000 avg), up from 1100 wednesday.
