Good rain at last! "The fishing has been good! The rainy, snowy conditions this week will warm the water a little and force more steelhead to move up into the Irongate section of the Klamath." Flows jumped from 1000 CFS Wednesday to a peak of 1750 Thursday and were receding as of 10:00 p.m. Thursday.

"We are starting to see more and more adult fish in the net and fewer smaller steelhead." Cold mornings mean frozen rod guides until around 10:30. "Flows below Irongate Dam dropped...and further concentrated the steelies making them easier to target." Lack of rain = clear and low flows of 1020 (vs 1900 avg).
