Best fishing is higher up section, about which the following was written: "The Pan has been HOT as of late. As we head into winter bug activitie will start to slow down, key bug hatches will mostly consist of midges...DY - NO- MITE!!". With winter, fishing is transitioning from BWO's to nymphing. "With the onset of the colder weather the bug hatches are slowing with a few BWO's and midges but nothing prolific."92 CFS (vs 110 avg). Highs in the 30's and 40's, lows in the teens and 20's.
